It started raining last night and it’s still raining. It’s supposed to stop tomorrow or later tonight. Tomorrow night the temperature is supposed to drop down to the 40s. This might trigger the trees to do something bright and shiny. I’m almost holding my breath. Meanwhile, how about some rain-soaked chrysanthemums?

Thanks Cee! Everything seems to be wet all the time these days, but the water does add something to the pictures 😀

Glorious photographs, Marilyn. I’ve stayed away from FB, so haven’t looked for many months. FB’s constant “updates” drive me nuts. I’m better off away from all social media. Time without electronic media has helped calm the spirit they unsettle and sometimes enrage. Hoping this finds you both well. Grace and Peace to you in Massachusetts.

Other than the blog, I’ve been away from social media too. It helps keep ones brain from exploding! There’s so much ELSE going on to make one crazy, we don’t need more.

I, too, wish it were so. Everyone already thinks we’re for the birds; in this period of history, it feels like an honor.

We have had no rain since early June. How I long for rain.

I’d send you some of mine if I could! We had ten years of drought — and some areas of New England haven’t gotten the rain yet, so they are still in drought. What a pity we can’t push the weather to where it is most needed!

It is a pity. Our sky is thundering but no rain!

Last year, half the country was flooded and our rivers were dry as a bone. If only wishes made weather!

I remember your drought. We get droughts here and its awful. Mind you, floods aren’t great either. Where has the normal weather gone.
