Talk about time in a bottle, this was the best pumpkin patch ever. Hyannis in mid-October 2013.
Did we buy pumpkins? Sure, of course. We bought two pretty big ones. Not the greatest pumpkins by bulk, but they were perfectly shaped for perfect carving.

Are those not for eating?

The little ones (and the white ones especially) are much better for eating. The big ones are too tough for eating usually. But if you’re hungry, hey, it’s food! And great pie!

It was HUGE. Definitely the biggest and most prolific patch I’ve been to. I’ve seen bigger (GIGANTIC) pumpkins, but for sheer volume, this was the winner. It was ACRES of pumpkins.
