I was just wondering if driving including flying? I’m not sure. What do you think?

Maybe I’ll redo this, but add airplanes 😀

That last one touched me greatly. It made me think of when I was a young woman, we used to travel literally for hours on streets like that w/o anybody coming up and it was difficult not to fall asleep. I always like me some b&w photos. The details jump out so much better from their frame.

There’s something about that picture that is a bit haunting. Maybe the emptiness surrounding that single truck on the long, long road. Black & white probably adds to the mood 🙂

You’ve featured a lovely selection of vehicles in these pictures, Marilyn. They are really excellent photographs.

Thank you! I was trying to find a selection. Vehicles are one of the few things I often shoot in black and white, so it was fun since everything I’ve been shooting recently have been autumn leaves. I actually was beginning to feel a little overdosed on color 😀

Your autumn certainly is very colourful and the vehicles are fantastic shot in B&W.

In answer to your question, Yes horses count, when attached to a wagon or plow. 😀 😀

Ah, but not under a rider, right? I remember when I was learning to ride being reminded to “steer.” When you get involved with where you put your feet, how you hold the reins, and all the signals you give the horse using hands and feet, it’s easy to forget to steer — and many horses will run you right into a rail if you let them. Ouch. Many western horses are taught to respond to the way you lean so your hands are free to do other things.

That last one was taken in Maine. Not much traffic!
