A Photo a Week: Gateways
I avoided using my own gates repeatedly. It turned out, much to my surprise, I had quite a few photos of gates. No gateway cities, though — or at least none I know are called “gateway” cities.

I don’t know the exact termination of these gateways. But I know I like your collection here. That’s a great bunch of gated beauty.

I liked the water gateway best. A unique thought for a gateway. You inspired me to find a similar one in my archives somewhere as I was putting up my gates for tomorrow post. Thanks.

That canal really WAS a gateway, though it was only in use for 10 years until they built a railroad to replace it. Now, it’s like a manmade river and it is beautiful growing the most amazing water lilies.

Thanks, Nancy. Lacking the right city, I found interesting gates and at least one waterway 😀

I ASSUME THIS IS STILL TRUE. RENO HAS A HUGE ARCH “GATE WAY” THAT PROCLAIMS IT “THE BIGGEST LITTLE CITY.”

We’ve never been there. I think St. Louis has a big “McDonald’s” style arch too, but we haven’t been THERE either.
