FOTD – December 6 – Red, green and a sunny window
Red Anthurium and scarlet Christmas cactus and a sunny east-facing window. I notice the last time this cactus bloomed was last April — just a bit out of season maybe? This time, they are blooming in season and I’m very glad to see them. They brighten the room and brighten my world. When I look at birds and flowers and squirrels and chipmunks, I can forget for a little while all the rest of the junk going on in the world.

With your indoor plants, you get good reds and greens 😀 😀

I had an Anthurium that flowered again after nine years!

These seem to be incredibly hearty plants. This has been flowering for almost four year without a break.

You are right. Your flowers give us a brighter view of our world than it really is.
