IT’S JANUARY. WE’VE GOT THE WINTER BLUES – TWO FEET WORTH!
My collaborator, Leslie Martel of swo8 Blues Jazz did the real work. She composed the music and the words. She also put the video together. Posted it to YouTube. I think that’s all the work. I merely supplied photographs. But I thank her very much for giving me so much credit when I really don’t deserve it.
This video is called Winter Blues, a unique, fun collaboration between me and composer-musician swo8 Blues Jazz.
It’s that time of year again and we’ve had our first blizzard. The forecast is for snow every day for the next six days, so I guess the season just got serious. This seems a good time to run this one again.
Before this day is done, I expect we’ll have plenty of new winter photographs that look just like the old pictures of our house in the middle of winter. Tomorrow afternoon, the storm will end. It always has, at least so far!
It’s sort of almost spring, right?

O MY! you hit the nail on the head Marilyn.
I used to love Winter when I was a kid. Hockey.
Now I get to thinking “Maybe I should be living someplace warmer?”

Brava Marilyn, a lot of memories. But alas, Spring….I’m afraid we have a little way to go.

It’s crazy out there! The 100 foot oak trees are swaying in the wind! Spring — that’s the season we don’t get, right? We get winter, winter, winter — and then, two hours later — SUMMER! You can’t even see outside right now. The snow is falling like a blanket — with 50 MPH winds. Sheesh!

It sounds like you’re getting a really bad storm. Hang in there…
