I know it’s barely spring, but autumn’s colors are such a magnet for me, I can’t quite break away. I was drawing something tonight and when I got to the leaves (having not yet filled in the ground) I asked Garry: “Okay, you pick. Green or autumn?”
“Autumn,” he said. I guess he’s hooked on the colors too.

That too. I haven’t figured out how to “seal” drawings to keep them from disintegrating. I’m sure there’s a spray or something like that because we have some framed pencil sketches that are more than 40 years old. There’s a lot of technical stuff I need to learn. There’s probably a book about it. I’ll have to go looking.
