It looks like a cat. I’ll improve with practice. It’s the first cat’s face that looks catlike. For some reason, this picture looks better on paper than it does in the photograph. The colors blend together well on paper, but not so well in the photo.

Thank you. The photograph isn’t as good as the drawing. I have to rethink the photography part of the process. The lights aren’t working as well as I had hoped. But thank you. He was a very pretty kitty. I just don’t want him lingering around waiting to eat the birds!

Thank you. He actually looks better on paper. I think the lights are the wrong color. I have to ponder this. They looked better in natural light than they do with standing lights.

You’re welcome! He does looks a bit other-worldly 😜

I think the light is too white. I need lights that are less white and maybe a bit yellowish. You know what I mean. Lights come in all kinds of colors. These were very cheap, so it’s possible I’ll have to go up a bit and get something that has a “daylight” setting. Because you should be able to see every pencil line. The light is doing that.

You should get the daylight-light.

I will post a picture of my Dinah in Wonderland cake as part of my Thursday Doors post tomorrow. All the cats were on that cake. I don’t eat them either. It would be a bit like eating friends.

It all looks pretty good, except that its ears are a little too big. Your drawings are so good — the next cat will be perfect!

Thank you. I knew something was wrong — ears. That’s it! I’ll have to give it another try. Thanks again.
