Another bird lost but found. The starlings don’t seem to hang around here much. They seem to prefer a more suburban than rural environment. And this house is too rural for them though once in a while, they drop by for an afternoon or two.




Starlings are among the prettiest of birds. Brought over from England in the late 1800s, they have fit in nicely with local birds. Unlike in other places where they were imported, they haven’t formed gigantic flocks. They seem content with smaller groups.
