CMMC October Close Up or Macro
I was sure we hadn’t taken a lot of pictures in September, but today I got around to backing up both August and September. I don’t know why I procrastinate so long before getting around to doing a simple back up. August should have been done a month ago, but at least I got September done on time.
So despite being sure we hadn’t take a lot of pictures, there were 1400 of them. And I’m pretty sure most haven’t been seriously looked at yet, much less processed. For that matter, there are quite a lot of August pictures still waiting for me to get around to them. There will never be enough time!

I can’t get up close most of the time. Don’t have the gear.
But close ups can be very powerful.

Thanks Cee. Today we were out and I could get far enough away. Between last week and today, all the colors came up. It was sunny and it was so bright, I have a few hundred pictures that are bright on one end and dark on the other — and It’s going to take me a while to get these processed. There really is no way to deal with extremes of dark and light in one photograph — but I’m working on it. I’ve got a few done, but there are hundreds more.

We try to keep telling people that they ARE disappearing, even though there are pockets of them here and there. Overall, there are far fewer than even a few years ago and billions fewer than 50 years ago when most of the books were written. We try. But who is listening?

It’s called Daily Life 🙃
Here it’s the same. No visits of my blogger friends…. except a quick peak now and then. Have a glorious fall before winter strikes again!

Yes. Today is sunny and warm, finally. The past week has been chilly and wet, so it’s nice to have the sun back. I don’t know for how long, though. We’ve been getting one storm after another. Where was all this rain in the summer?
