AUTUMN LEAVES – GARRY ARMSTRONG

FESTIVAL OF LEAVES

Somehow, we all knew it was going to be last perfect autumn day. Classes of local kids were out having a run in the woods. Everyone looked happy, including the teachers.

Today, as expected, it’s raining, but it’s going to get worse tonight with some heavy wind and intense, drenching rain.

The peak of autumn leafing may be over, but we have a lot of pictures. We can make Autumn last longer via photograph. With a little luck, we’ll have decent weather even if the leaves fall. Sometimes, good weather can hang around for weeks until all of a sudden the temperatures drop and he sky turns white — and autumn ends.

    • Daniel, we had a wonderful day for our photo shoot. The kids running in and out of the woods was an unexpected bonus.
I had a brief chat with their teacher who recognized me, saying “My GRANDPARENTS used to watch you on TV”. Bam!
