Watching the maple in front of my window as it changes from green to hits of red and now, a deeper red with orange mixed into it becomes my personal miniature of seasonal change.

I am amazed and surprised. I figured with the long drought, we wouldn’t have much of an autumn. But instead, we’re having a really beautiful one and we DESERVE it 😀

Yes, it is. We still have a lot of leaves on the trees, but it has also gotten pretty chilly. I finally had to turn the heat on. It was 59 degrees in the house this morning. Pretty nippy, so I turned the heat up to 65 and now it’s comfortable. With a sweater and a hot cup of coffee 🙂
