FOTD – October 22 – Yellow Begonias
It’s the end of October. We’re getting frosts at night, but our big yellow begonias aren’t dead yet! Although they’ve lost a lot of leaves, the flowers are still blooming as big and bright as ever.

And amazingly, still blooming. I had a great bunch of flowers this year. ALL of them are still blooming. Not in the fullness of early summer, but all still have living flowers on them.

It’s crazy here, we have trees blossoming again! I’m told it’s something to do with the drought in the summer.

The green leaves of summer have all but passed through peak autumn foliage and now lie in large mounds – giving our grounds a Hollywood color look.
