CMMC: November Close Up or Macro

Last night, most of the remaining leaves fell off the trees. It wasn’t terribly cold. It has actually warmed up from a few days ago when it was downright cold at night. But now, the leaves are down. It was a short autumn, but a really beautiful one.

Thanks Cee. It’s amazing how fast all the leaves fell. Usually they linger into late November, but as of now, the trees are close to bare — EXCEPT for the Japanese maple which is still fully in green leaf and hasn’t even begun to change color. Maybe it won’t this year.

The first photo is one of your white mums….that didn’t turn pink? It is a beauty.

The white ones in the big pot turned quite dark pink. They are gone. Just seeds now. The second pot (which we bought later) is still alive. THOSE white ones stayed white.

All the leaves fell during the past couple of days. I’m very glad I took a lot of pictures early. That’s the thing with fall. It comes, it goes. It may last a week or a month or even longer — but since you never know, the safe bet is to grab the camera and take all the pictures you can as soon as you can lest you get hit by a storm or the leaves fall early.
