On the beach before dawn, watching the sun come up. It’s just me, the gulls, plovers and terns — and 10 million mosquitos. Hungry mosquitos. To whom I appeared to be a warm walking breakfast.

Wonderful shots of the sunset over the sea!

Sunrise but they look pretty much the same — EXCEPT for the starving mosquitoes. They are definitely more enthusiastic in the early hours!

Oops — that’s because the sea is on the wrong side of the picture! Once in New Jersey I was asked if I knew how to get where I wanted to go — I told my friend that I would go south and turn left — hahaha!

Absolutely stunning! Mosquitoes…I’ll never understand their purpose.

They seem to be here entirely to annoy us. And every other warm-blooded animal.

Absolutely beautiful! I hope you felt these views were worth enduring the mosquitoes for?

Those of us with warm skin seem to attract them — and some of us smell more “foody” to the skeeters. They sure love ME!

I was very lucky. On all three days that i got up before dawn the colors were brilliant. It doesn’t always work out that well. Right amount of clouds I think.
