CFFC: Pear Green Colors
Down by the Blackstone River at Riverbend Farm Park there is a pear tree. How a pear tree began growing. How it got there? I have not idea, but that park used to be farm, so maybe the area was once an orchard. There are apple trees nearby and the museum was once a barn.

I’m always surprised to find cultivated fruit growing in a park, but I lived in a house with a pear tree in the back yard that produced bushels and bushels of amazingly good pears every year.
So this time, my pear-green colors are the actual colors of pears. Go figure, right?

Thanks Cee. If only at least ONE of the plants survived! But I keep trying. Maybe one day I’ll find the right “place” for them.

The pears may be tasty but it’s that cheese I have my eye on!

Oh, yes. That was a very high end party. The pear was a side dish to that big piece of blue cheese 😀 I’m a big cheese fancier too.
