Our town, when it makes the effort, puts on a nice little display. It didn’t do anything much for the past few years, but I think it perked up this year. We had our first Christmas parade since 2019.
I have not been “downtown” to look. It’s only 3 miles to town, but everyone must be stopping to look because traffic is crawling. Our roads are all two wide, so if people are busy gawking, everything stops.
We have a huge storm coming this afternoon and tomorrow, but maybe Sunday we can go out and see. Luckily, we are NOT expecting snow — just torrents of rain and a lot of wind. It’s not going to get REALLY cold until Sunday.

The last one is my favorite 😉! I love nutcrackers, too! I will miss the lights after the season. Marilyn, I wish you and Garry a Merry Christmas! I remember you in my prayers and do hope you’re feeling better.

My nutcracker’s nose broke when he fell last year. I decided he could still be the King of Decorations even with a flat nose 😀
