THE END OF CHANUKAH AND TODAY IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE

It’s nice when the two holiday conjoin or overlap. Tonight was the final night of Chanukah and tomorrow, Christmas Eve. So if you’re celebrating anything, have a great holiday weekend!

  1. I didnโ€™t get out a Hanukkah menorah, this year. I lit a clearish-white scented candle with pine pieces peeking out for a while each night. I knowโ€ฆ really cheating and being lazy. Then, I took it to my sonโ€™s house and lit it (and left it) for my daughter-in-law on Christmas โ€” while we all started a table puzzle. They had just moved into their new home the day before. And the candle was down to where the light shines through the pine needles a bit more.
