FOTD – February 2 – Post-Christmas Cactus in Bloom
Surprise! Not only did it bud, but it has more buds and one has begun to bloom! Who am I to question such a wonderful gift? Not me!
Out of season for sure. Not a Thanksgiving bloomer or a Christmas bloomer. But I’m not one to reject any flower, in or out of season. I find it quite delicious that this is blooming and that it has several more buds on it means that this is a real blooming, not just one random flower. I needed another flower.

I wonder why they are so late? It also bloomed in November, so this was a real surprise. A pleasant surprise, however.
