MEDIA WAR STORIES – EPISODE 4

IN WHICH GARRY HITS THE RIVER AND TOM CAN’T STOP LAUGHING AS THE NETWORK FAILS FOR NO GOOD REASON

In this episode Garry accidentally goes swimming in the Concord River on Live TV and how he escaped a severe beating because he told the approaching hostile mob he was Samoan. Tom tells his story of a behind the scenes control room disaster during a famous hostage crisis.

In this episode, the Duke goes from occasion visitor to full-fledged crew. If you can’t keep’em out, you might as well make them stars. I’m pretty sure the Duke is trying to contact his agent. He wants more biscuits and he wants he name above-the-title.

It snowed today. It rained today. It snowed today. It’s probably raining right now but it’s dark and I’m afraid to look. One thing for sure: there will be a lot of mud out tomorrow and the Duke will import a lot of it.

Do you think when there’s more snow in California than in New England, there might be a climate change issue? This strange weather is making interesting television, but it’s slippery. Slushy. And mostly it doesn’t feel like winter even though it almost looks like winter. Almost.

It will get colder overnight, so tomorrow will also be icy. It’s the perfect weather to stay home, have something hot to drink and find a good movie to watch.

Tom and Garry are finding their mojo. This week, the show is hilarious. Garry and I got a preview of it last night. We know the stories. In some cases, we saw the story or were part of the story, but we laughed all the way through it. We didn’t just smile or chuckle. We laughed heartily. I think The Duke of Uxbridge was the funniest of all. He’s calling his agent tomorrow.
