Finally, the crocus are up. There are eleven, all purple. They are not in the garden. Instead, they moved and are now in front of the stone retaining wall. They look wonderful there. Those big granite stones are a perfect backdrop for the elegant little crocuses.

Today was a demonstration of why it’s useful to have a telephone with a camera. There I was. The camera was upstairs — two flights of stairs away — inside the house. All these were taken with my iPhone.
It isn’t a fabulous camera. I’m told the newer ones are better, but the resolution on these is just 72ppi. At least I got photographs. Tomorrow, if it isn’t raining, I’ll go down with a camera and take better pictures. IF it doesn’t rain.

I love plants that migrate and surprise me. Beautiful!

I suppose they birds could have dropped the seeds or the wind could have blown them, but it’s interesting that they abandoned the garden completely. Big leap for a little plant.

Not bad at all… I use the camera on my phone too!

I only use it when it’s the only thing I have that will take a picture. The pictures are fine — when they are small. But the resolution is so low, you can’t do much with them. Fortunately, putting them online is not usually a problem because most people can’t see the difference. At least I had a camera!

I don’t seem to have flash on my phone, which can be a nuisance. I might have to revert to using a proper camera!

Cameras take better pictures, or at least good cameras take better pictures. But I get that many people find hauling a camera around inconvenient. I miss my mini cameras.

Most cameras are too complicated for me, I can’t see well enough to operate them either as everything is so small. I will probably stick my phone, or a better one?
