PRETTIEST LITTLEST RED SQUIRREL

Since I stopped filling the flat feeders, we don’t get as many squirrels. That doesn’t mean we don’t get squirrels. If you get up early in the morning — especially right after dawn — you will easily see a dozen red squirrels sucking down pounds of seeds. They eat at least twice as much food as all the birds combined.

It’s just we don’t have them here all day every day. I’ve downsized the feeders, so we only get little ones, not the really huge gray ones.

Hi! How about a handshake?

  1. They are darling little things. I haven’t seen a squirrel since I was last in England over 30 years ago but at least we have the possums and they are very cute too.
