CFFC: GREEN AND GREEN

Green and Green — CFFC

Lots of green in most of my pictures unless it’s a macro or a bird.

In this case, the green water is a reflection of the green trees surrounding the river

In the next set, well — it’s summer, so it’s green. Right now, the only green are my indoor plants. These are mostly outdoors and it will be a couple of months before the world looks like this again.

An Oriole — yes, from Baltimore. They don’t live here, but they pass through on their way to Canada

    1. Thank you! I rarely get to take pictures of the buds because these are hedge roses and the buds are tiny and hard to photograph. I got lucky last year. Meanwhile, absolutely NOTHING is growing in our garden. Not crocus, not the tops of plants yet to come. Maybe because it has been so cold … Hopefully, they will show up.

    1. Thank you. Those are last year’s buds. Right now, there are NO buds or shoots for anything outside. Usually there would be crocus by now, but there isn’t even the signs of soon-to-be crocus. It has been very cold so maybe they will just be late?

    1. Thanks. I got lucky. Those buds are tiny and hard to find an angle to get a photograph. This year, NOTHING outside has any kind of buds. No shoots, buds … NOTHING. I hope things show up. Soon would be very nice.

    1. Thanks. They make ME happy too, although the only green and growing stuff is indoor. Nothing at all outside. Maybe the very cold winter has delayed the early flowers?

    1. Thank you. It was nice to revisit summer which, presumably, will return this year although right now, the garden is absolutely empty. I thought there would at least be a few buds and crocuses — but nope. Nothing. Oh well. Maybe next week?
