Through the woods, down a narrow trail. The mosquitoes are fierce here because the area is swampy. But if you persevere, there’s a pond ahead. It’s at the end of the path surrounded by an emerald forest.
Around town we have a few fully restored Victorian mansions, known as Painted Ladies. This is my favorite. It’s near the old high school, across the street from St. Mary’s Church.
