The indoor invasion has been minimal this year. Some years, it has been bad enough to need professional help. This year, spraying when they show up has done the job. I think not having anyone living downstairs has helped.
We used to have slugs, but it’s been so dry, they’ve given up. Or just died. No worries. The ants have come to fill the gap left by the slugs. LOTS and LOTS of ants.

One forgets how beautiful the flowers of hostas are, and yours don’t get chewed to death like mine do by the slugs and snails 🙂
