Love the snow capture. Colossal and Gaiety could have been the one photo…the fun of a ferris wheel 😀

Positively delightful – all your photos – even Ephemeral – snow falling!

I wish I had something less coldly ephemeral, but I don’t seem to take a lot of butterflies and floaty fluffy things 🙂

we’re not looking for fluff.

Ephemeral, photographically, means to means delicate, soft, and probably a bit fluffy. Mentally, it’s different, but pictorially? I can’t think another way to show it.

Thank you. One of my older pictures, but it still captures the “soaring” think better than anything else i have. And that was a glorious dawn on the beach in Maine.

I like what you did to the ferris wheel.

I have a few versions of it. That’s the most recent. It wasn’t taken on a good quality lens, so I’ve been fighting with it to “look cleaner.” Eventually I realized i was going to have to compromise. That’s the compromise 🙂

Well done Marilyn. And so quick. It would take me ages to think of five!

I remember the pictures. What I DON’T remember is where they are. If they are in my WordPress library, I can usually dig them out … if the name I gave them brings them up. But if not, sometimes I get lucky and find them, other times, i give up and move on. I have most of my work in folders by month and year, but that doesn’t tell me what is IN there.
Special events — vacations or special shoots — have their own names, but most pictures are in a month/year folder … and whether or not I can find them? It’s a crap shoot.

These are all inspiring examples, Marilyn. Hopefully, they will inspire other bloggers and make them realize that this challenge is not so hard after all 😉 Thank you so much.

It helps that I have more than 100,000 photos. Now, if ONLY I COULD FIND THEM!
