Autumn. It’s my shiny season. From the day the leaves begin to change, I’m happy. It charges me up, makes me want to take pictures, go places, do things. Now, as August ends, I can feel October vibrating in the air. It doesn’t last long, so I hope it’ll be a good one.

This is a fun topic for this week’s challenge from Nancy Merrill. Fun … and sometimes challenging. Reflective surfaces can be easy or difficult, depending on the light. Of course in photography, it’s all about the light all the time, is it not?
There are so many kinds of shiny. The reflections on glass, water and steel. The shine of the sun, shiny headlights in the night. Shining rivers and lakes, the shine of a sunrise on the sand on the shore. Here’s a selection. The motorcycles are my favorites 🙂
