Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Things Found in a Kitchen
I have taken a lot of pictures in my kitchen. Black & white and color. In and out of the cupboards, so coming up with something that looks different was my goal as me and my little camera turned on the lights and looked around.
It was a perfect day for inside picture as it’s pouring outside.

Rules are always best in B&W, the kitchen too.

I pretty much always do “signs” in monochrome. It’s easier to read. As for the kitchen, much depends on what’s coming in through the window 🙂

Reading the signs is much easier in B&W and in the kitchen you are dealing with instruments and equipment.

I like your knives, they have a place for the scissors. 😀

The block (from OXO) came with room for scissors, but they weren’t part of the original set. I bought scissors separately.
I use my scissors more than any other item in my knife block. I got a pair of German scissors. They were relatively expensive by my standards — not by their standards! — and they are in constant use.

Are they the Wustof shears that come apart to wash? I was gifted them by my daughter. Absolutely love them. They’re wicked sharp, and used constantly.

It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I had to find things I could photograph that weren’t so complicated they wouldn’t translate to black & white. Like you, I have a very busy kitchen and there’s a lot of stuff in it.
