Politics? “Send in the Clowns” was always Garry’s favorite for political stories. His bosses didn’t appreciate it nearly as much as I did.
This one is probably my favorite because it’s a thumb print of the news of my life.

There are so many songs that belong in this list. You can’t put them all in or no one would be able to open the post. Many of my favorite performers are not in this but when I have a chance, I’ll do another. In so many way, music speaks to us — universally. Even if you don’t fully understand the words, music speaks to us.
I like this one so much, it’s in this post twice mostly because I couldn’t decide which was a better version. And that’s a wrap!

And sometimes I just want to hear the songs I love. Just because. I wish today’s music were better. Half the time I wonder if these people actually can carry a tune without AI fixing their flat voices.

a priceless collection, Marilyn… I love Send in the Clowns as that basically is the story of my life… and Bad Moon Rising inspired Anita to right her first book!

I always wonder exactly when to expect the next bad moon. Of course, CCR were so incredible, I don’t think there will ever be a group as good. I used to play their albums while I cleaned the house. It was very energizing.

All favorites, but there are so many more. Over all these years, I collected a lot of favorites though not for the past 15 years. I wonder if the current singer really sing or it’s all AI correcting them.

Yes, and not nearly enough. Do you wonder if any of the “modern” hit singers can actually sing or it’s all AI fixing their off-key voices? I suppose the ones who perform live can at least carry a tune … but the rest?
