A quick look out my picture window and all that’s left are the bronze leaves high up on the oaks. Everything else is finished. Sometimes, it hangs around a little longer, but this year, it came late, was really pretty, and fell almost over night. Until next year.

It was a luminous day in every sense of the word. It’s just a couple of day since, but it’s gone. That really WAS the last best of Autumn.
