UP THE SQUARES FOR NUMBER SIX!

PEERING UP THE BLACKSTONE RIVER

Today, abandoning birds, we are looking upriver on the Blackstone River. It’s not the I ran out of birds, but it has been a long and terrible day and wanted something peaceful. The river is peaceful and for the moment, so is our capitol. I don’t think it’s over. Not quite yet. Not unless they remove you-know-who from power — like maybe tomorrow.

  2. A beautiful picture, Marilyn. What’s happening in the USA is quite a shock, I must say.

    • So you can imagine how thunderstruck WE were. This was not a scenario either of us ever imagined was possible. Not here. Not ever. This is one of the rare times I’ve wanted to be younger just so we could fight back. As it is, we are bystanders, clutching hope; fearful of how our grandchildren will survive in the world to come.

    • We need a trip to the quiet river. It’s just more than a little bit cold and as we get older, we get cold a lot faster. When it’s below freezing, I don’t go out much. I used to, but time is really catching up with me.
