CBWC: Flowers
I have to admit having a personal preference for flowers in color rather than black and white. To me, the essence of flowers is color, but I’ll give it a try. Maybe orchids since they are more “form” than purely color.

Thanks. I had to find pictures that had enough contrast to be more form than color. But really, I still prefer flowers in color.

Some stunners here, Marilyn. I can understand why you prefer colour, but I think there’s a place for mono as well, because in black and white you can really appreciate the detail and structure of the flower without getting distracted by a blaze of colour. In this way, it’s good to see them in a different light.

I just had to find flowers that had a clear structure. Some flowers work much better than others and I got to play with filters 🙂

I know that feeling, Marilyn. But looking at your photos, I think you’d find it hard to get it wrong. These days, I think it’s the little positive things in our own worlds that we need to take comfort from, and you have lots of those. 🙂
