I love this shot, but it was taken about 12 years ago on a not so great camera — AND I don’t have the original unedited file. I do love this view of St. Petersburg (from Tampa); the only way it looks good is smaller than I normally display pictures. Sorry. I wish I had the original to work from.

SERENDIPITY - SEEKING INTELLIGENT LIFE ON EARTH 
It’s still a nice picture. I have the same problem when I go back to older pictures. It’s been a journey, and a constant learning curve dealing with digital images. Someday I’ll have to go through and clean out my files. 😦

I don’t even remember what kind of camera it was, but something cheap. I hadn’t gotten back into photography at that point. Still working full time and pretty busy. But some of the pictures are lovely, I do wish the quality was higher. It was early in the digital camera era. We’ve come a very long way in a relatively short time. Don’t throw anything away. Eventually the software will improve enough to let you rescue older low resolution images. I’m sure a lot of people are waiting for that software!
