MY FAVORITE THINGS – CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: My Favorite Things, Chorus

When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I’m feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don’t feel so bad.

  2. I love carousels too. Actually I’d love to have one horse from a carousel. I’ve seen a few for sale but always a little bit too expensive…
So the photo will do for now.

    • At one of the Ray Flynn’s Christmas Parties in the 1980s, we spent a whole evening trying to convince two very rich guys to buy a carousel and put it on the Commons or the Gardens. Obviously, we failed, but we thought Boston needed a carousel. Like the one in Central Park.

  3. I love the colours of the flowers. It is a big improvement from the white of the snow. The dogs look like they need to see something more than snow too!

    • Thank you. The carousel picture was taken on cold winter’s night, but the ride was indoors. It was even cold inside that night, but I love the sound of a calliope and carousels are the most cheerful places in the world. I never got to ride because I was too busy taking pictures 🙂

  5. love those dogs! Especially the beware of dog sign, and the irony of the photo 🙂 Nothing like a carousel to cheer a person up!

    • Ever since some delivery guy went nuts because he was sure our dogs were going to eat him, I put the signs up so no one can claim they didn’t know we have dogs. But the signs are bigger than our dogs and it does make a very funny picture.
