Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge: 2015 Week #8
I was out in the car with Garry yesterday for the first time in more than a week. I was forcibly reminded how strange the world looks when piles of snow obscure common landmarks, how changed the outline of familiar places become.
How can I know
Which is the right way to go
In a world full of snow?

I was gonna make a joke out of it .. but that’s too easy to do from here.

It is STILL SNOWING. No joke!

Great photos. A lotta snow. That is one thing I don’t miss here in New Zealand. 11 years in Austria was enough (sorry???)

Anyone who has really lived in a very snow region knows that the “pretty factor” gets old very quickly and the misery, inconvenience factor looms large. It’s snowing today. It has been just four weeks since it started snowing, but it has been relentless and overwhelming. I have trouble believing how we could have so much snow in so short a time.

You guys have certainly been hit by snow. 🙂 Great photos.

It is drifting down again. But not hard. Just a dusting. I can cope with that. As long as it doesn’t get any worse. (Sigh.)

I would be glad to ship our snow too. After spending a week where there was no snow, I returned home to a snow storm. Tonight we will be below zero. Forty Five degrees Fahrenheit never looked so good.

Rich, it is SNOWING again. Actively snowing. I haven’t looked at the weather, so I have no idea what they are predicting, but it is SNOWING. And cold.

it is supposed to snow Sunday so it never seems to end.

I don’t want to know. I’m totally done with winter, even if winter isn’t done with me!

Rich, I am blessed to be INSIDE watching others jabber about this winter of discontent. A friend who shared myriad TV bad weather live shots for decades is experiencing his first winter in retirement. We’re just fine. Spring training is underway and I’ve got my mind right, boss.

I spent a week with my closest friend in weather that was the 40s mostly. It was perfect because we were together, and there was no snow!

Be careful backing out a driveway. I lost an uncle that way. He couldn’t see over the snow banks and the other guy couldn’t see him.

Garry always backs the car in so he can front out. Backing in is a bit scary, but backing out is MUCH worse. I wish we had a driveway in which we could turn around — in the summer, we can. This time of year, we barely have room for the cars because everyone parks at the top. One car, the yellow one, got caught in the first blizzard and will be buried until this mess melts.

A big problem is not being able to see around corners. Or see if anything is coming up an on-ramp on the highway. I don’t just not know which way to go in all of the snow, I’m often afraid to go which ever way I finally choose.

No kidding. And it is SNOWING again. Hard to believe, but it really is. Again.

I know. I’m on the Cape this week. I woke up yesterday to an unexpected 4 inches and it’s snowing now and the RADAR looks like it will continue for a while. When I went to bed last night it did not show snow in the forecast.

I think they don’t mention anything short of a blizzard. Even the weather guys are tired of snow. It’s not snowing too hard at the moment, but I’d have to look at a map to see what’s happening. I’m not sure I want to know.
