How beautiful Marilyn- I have yet to capture a moon. Such a perfect setting behind the leaves

Thanks. It’s lucky it was such a super bright moon. Usually, I can only (sometimes, when it is in EXACTLY the right position) get a shot from my house in the winter, when the leaves are gone. Even then, we are over-treed 🙂

You are most welcome. It’s nice to have a use for these. That was a spectacular full moon. I know you can’t see it because of the trees and leaves, but it was so very bright!

Reminds me of my hikes through the forests in the dark morning. Only the moonshine through the trees helped me to find my way. 🙂 Nice pictures!

Thanks. One of the weather people on TV was talking about it and I realized I MIGHT be able to get something if I grabbed a camera and ran outside. I’m glad I did because half an hour later, it had disappeared completely behind the trees. It was VERY bright. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brighter moon.

Such a big moon. I always marvel at the beauty of “round” when I see the moon.

Thank you! I would have liked a little more moon and a little less tree, but you can’t always get what you want (sing it!). It’s still a lovely glowing moon 🙂

You can still see most of the outline.

I tried and I had the right lens and everything, but we really are covered by trees pretty much horizon to horizon.

They will provide a lot of shelter.

They shelter a lot of birds and squirrels and bugs and those who eat bugs. I love the trees, but they are also messy. We are literally buried in leaves every fall. I think that’s why they call it fall!

Fall that says it all. I think that’s why they call it fall too.

I don’t know how we survived before they invented the leaf blower!

We still use a rake. But with all those trees of yours a leaf blower would be indispensable.

Some years are worse than others. Probably lighter this year because there are fewer leaves, thanks to our Gypsy Moth friends. But usually, it’s hard to believe.
