ODDBALLS AND STRANGENESS – GARRY & MARILYN ARMSTRONG

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: March 18, 2018

Snowy selfie – Photo: Garry Armstrong

Oddballs. I have been taking a lot of strange pictures in the house. The outside has been difficult to negotiates. Garry, though, has been out there, frozen fingers and all. Kudos to him!

Although a lot of snow has melted, especially on areas that get a lot of sun, there’s still plenty around elsewhere.

Two happy dogs! Photo: Garry Armstrong

The woods is full of snow and along the road, there are huge piles of it created by the plows.

Recycling only please! Photo Garry Armstrong

Gibbs fully enjoying snowstorm

It’s a good time to follow Gibbs’ lead: enjoy the sofa. Have another cup of coffee!

Warm inside, snow outside

  1. You have to give it to the dogs and their enthusiasm in the first photo.

    • Bonnie and Duke love the snow. Gibbs loves the sofa. I’m with Gibbs though when I was younger, I like the snow, too … at least until my toes froze!

    • Leslie, I just kept snapping, hoping to get a clean shot of Duke and Bonnie frolicking in the snow.

    • The good news? It’s at least half melted. The bad news? There’s more on the way this Wednesday. The worse news? There’s even MORE on the way next Sunday. And it is very cold — as in mid winter cold.

But the better news amidst the bad news is that despite the weather, it IS spring. Tomorrow, actually, it will be officially spring. And though it’s very cold and snowing, the sun is much stronger than it was a month or two ago, so even though the temperatures are way low for this time of year, the sun still manages to do a fair bit of melting.
