FOTD – April 17 – Orchids and a Squirrel

It was a beautiful day today. I had to spend most of it at the hospital. When we went in, none of the trees had leaves. When we left, the magnolias were flowering and the maples have baby leaves. Of course, it’s going to rain tomorrow.

I took new pictures. The orchids are amazing this year. As I was taking pictures of flowers, a squirrel was foraging in each feeder, checking to see if one of them had a higher quality of seeds. He was right. One had special stuff in it. I took his picture, but I was using a macro lens. Not the best choice for photographing a small red squirrel through a window from almost 20 feet away.
