Gone. We had it for dinner.

I love that first photo. I’m afraid the howling cookie jar would drive me crazy, but it would make sneaking cookies rather difficult!

You like my frog 🙂 I like him too. He’s been sitting there on the deck railing for years through all seasons. This is the first picture of Mr. Frog I like. Maybe it’s because I used a portrait lens?

I’m putting Greenies in the howling coyote cookie jar. Our dogs like to howl in chorus anyhow. This will likely encourage them 🙂

Actually, nothing lives in the cookie jar at the moment. We have a big dog biscuit shaped bin for the dog’s stuff. I used to keep ginger snaps in the coyote jar, but everyone complained about the howling. I thought it was hilarious, but I guess we don’t all have the same sense of humor!

I love the coyote cookie jar. It IS hilarious!! Too bad we don’t have a similar jar for the dog biscuits. They might howl in unison — EVERY time.

So Sorry… I am with …. ummmmm… me? Had I a coyote cookie jar, it would, Shirley, be holding bay-to-da-moon treats.
And now, I confess, when a siren occasionally goes by, or the noon whistle blows, I start howling…. just to encourage my four walkabouts to do the same. This is training, right? Just call me Caesar or canine whisperer.
If there’s any doubt, define “normal” when one lives and lies down with dogs.

Sometimes our kids will howl with a little human encouragement — or just because it’s morning and they feel like waking me up. It makes Garry crazy, but I find it hilarious.
