It’s amazing what a great landscape architect Mother Nature can be. I’m especially fond of gardens that float on the water. These are some of the water lilies on local canals, rivers, and ponds.

I have to force myself to go anywhere too. It’s not easy for me, but while I still can, I figure I really should. And the weather had been spectacular … pity to miss it!

Oh, Marilyn…if you could only come to Topeka and go on the pond tour. You would be in heaven!

I bet I would. I’ve always wanted to see the middle of the country. As a “coaster,” I’ve only seen it from airplanes on my way between coasts. I did the the big arch because our pilot flew low over it so we could see it … but I don’t think that counts.

Thank you. I think this is the time of year when the ponds and stream are at their peaks. We had some rain yesterday, so I want to go back, hopefully to see the the waterways refilled!
