It has been a spectacular summer. A bit dry, but beautiful. Sunny, warm, low humidity (mostly). Not too hot, comfortable nights.
The flowers have bloomed without my help. I wish I could bottle this summer and save some against winter to come. I guess taking pictures is as close as I can come.

Lovely photos and I agree, lovely summer here in New England.

It’s a make up for the horrible winter. We deserve it!

Thank you. It’s a nice view from the deck. Same view from the kitchen window. I consider us very lucky indeed 🙂

If only there were a way to do it. Save up the warm, bright days and release them when the world is a frozen wasteland and global warming seems like a good idea.

I’m jealous of your summer. Here in Florida, it’s been in the 90’s and the humidity is pretty brutal the last two weeks. Beautiful photos though.

This is the best summer I ever remember, and I mean in my entire life. Maybe it’s our gift for the hideous winter we had last year. But it has been amazing. Kind of perfect. Downright Caribbean and very unlike New England.

Heck, I’d love to bottle this summer up and save it for future summers! This is how every year should be…

Absolutely. When we are hip deep in snow and the ice is hanging from the eves …. brrr. I can’t even think about it.If only we could go from an endless summer to a long autumn then back to spring.
