The Origin of Consciousness – How Unaware Things Became Aware – REBLOG

Interesting that we don’t really know where consciousness comes from. Even computer programming. I know how it’s done … but why does it work? Why does writing all those lines of code make a computer DO the things it does?

Consciousness is the state of being aware of both our surroundings and our own inner state. But where does it come from?

    • Maybe they should do one about what IS love? Because I don’t think it’s ONE thing. I think it’s a lot of things, all packed together. Not saying that it doesn’t matter, only that there are many kinds of love we feel in many ways and it can be hard to describe what we mean when we say it.

We say each is a different kind of love but I wonder if that’s entirely true. We distinguish differences based on how we behave in that relationship but is the feeling itself different or is the difference based on how we choose to behave? It’s a really interesting subject. A lot has been written about love and what it means and I don’t think anyone has come up with an answer with which everyone agrees.

    • These little videos are teasers. I think they are intended to get you interested in the hopes you’ll do a little more research later. Sometimes, they really don’t answer the question at all. I thought this one more or less gave you an overview. There was one about parrots and speech where I thought they left out most of the good stuff.
