And I also love that diner! It’s a complete renovation of a 1952 Worcester dining car — number 8 I think. Not only is it fun for pictures, the food’s really good, too.

The detailing of Duke pic grabbed my attention. The lounge is equally fascinating in bw.

That’s the Duke’s “perch.” He sometimes sits up there for hours at a time, especially when it’s hot outside because he doesn’t like the heat. Or we’re having a blizzard or some other big weather event. He watches for other dogs intruding on our land (it’s HIS land!) or Owen’s car coming home. He has destroyed the sofa, but there’s no point in getting another one. He’d just destroy that too.

He has a rather noble look to him. He is a great dog for us, too. He is OURS. Really really OURS.
