FOTD – February 11 – Anthurium or Flamingo Lily
This flower came in a pot that includes an orchid, ivy, philodendron, and anthurium. The Anthurium has been in bloom for four years. It started blooming right after the orchid stopped blooming and before it bloomed again. Since then, this lovely plant has never had fewer than three flowers in bloom. I love it because it is my bright spot when all other colors are some shade of white, black, or gray.
And just to finish this, I drew it in my sketchbook.
I’ll have to try this one again. I think I’ve improved a little bit.

Thanks SO much! I did (I think) a little better last night — without the mess from the brush. I’m really bad with brushes. For now, I’m sticking with pencils!
