It took me two days to complete this picture. Sometimes it’s easier than it looks. This was not one of those times. This was as hard as it looked. It might have taken longer because I work more slowly with a brace on my wrist, but it’s worth it. It keeps my wrist functional!

The color was what took so long. I didn’t intend to get quite so complicated, but often this kind of thing has its own agenda. All I can do is follow along.

Yes, it is. But I would have to do it over. The water drops don’t look like water because I hadn’t gotten the right pencils yet. NOW I have them, but even a wrist brace isn’t helping. My right wrist and shoulder are very very unhappy with me and since I won’t stop using it, it gets very grouchy. I CAN’T stop using my right hand. I’m a righty and pretty much everything I do requires me using my right hand and arm. I wonder what other people with the same problem do? As far as I can tell, the only solution is a long rest and I can’t seem to hold out more than a day or two. That’s not enough. This hand and arm need at least a week of vacation.
