I don’t even remember the pictures I’ve taken this month. I know some of them were odd, maybe even weird … but in the pile of pictures we’ve taken, I don’t remember the details. I do remember the first picture, though. My problem turned out to be where I had put the file with this picture. It was taken with a bunch of autumnal pictures, but it really belonged in a different file.
Let’s see what I can unearth in this week’s ODDBALLS!
I am either not getting prompt posts at all or getting them several days late. Since this is pretty consistent, I’m still not sure if this is WordPress or Gmail. I get regular post notices on time from the same people. Since most of my email that isn’t from a company or a newsfeed is from someone on WordPress, I have no way to compare this.
Is anyone else having this problem? The only reason I found the post at all was finding someone else’s oddball post and realizing I hadn’t done one. Then I had to use their link to backtrack … which doesn’t always work as well as it should.
Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category. We’ve all taken and like them because we just can’t hit delete. If you have any, this challenge is for you.
Oddball: noun a person or thing that is atypical, bizarre, eccentric, or nonconforming; adjective – whimsically free-spirited; eccentric; atypical
How It Works?
This Odd Ball Challenge is not topic-related. Feel free to add any photos or artwork that fits into the category. Be creative and challenge yourself. Hopefully, you’ll find your creative eye will be expanded. ENJOY and have FUN.
It started snowing four or five days ago and hasn’t paused since. From what I can see of the forecast, it is going to snow, pretty much continuously, for at least a week. Maybe longer.
And it’s very cold. Which means nothing will melt between storms. Not that there’s much time between storms. One moves out, another moves in. We had about an hour of sun this morning before it started to snow again. Garry was outside shoveling. Now he’s out there shooting pictures. What a guy!
With Garry doing outdoor landscapes of ice and snow, I’ve been taking oddballs inside. You’d think the dogs would be outside hanging with Garry and the shovel, but nope. They are inside, catching 40 winks, the occasional biscuit, and staying where it’s warm and dry. I threw them out a while ago, but all they did was bark twice and make a u-turn back through the doggy door.
Clearly roughing it isn’t part of their current playbook.
