We went down to the dam in the middle of Uxbridge today. It was relatively warm and there’s a lot of melting going on. Still, it’s supposed to snow tonight. Not a lot of snow. A mere couple of inches, but with temperatures dropping, it’s likely to stick. Maybe this will be winter’s last gasp — or blast.

And the current prediction is for a lot of snow on Thursday … which would be a very bad thing and would make me extremely unhappy.

I was very uncomfortable on this shoot. I didn’t have my contacts in and my reading glasses were klutzy when trying to square up shots. My fingers were cold and shaking (left my “glubs” in the car) and my hearing aid batteries died. The hearing thing just added to my frustration. I just tried to get the best shots possible but didn’t think I did well. So, I was surprised when Marilyn showed me what I’d done.

Problem is winter keeps on gasping! It just needs to die already. Please?

I’m with you. I was very depressed to hear we were getting even a couple more inches. Enough already. But it’ll happen. Eventually.
