FOTD – May 9 – A Flowery Mother’s Day (with a dog)
I have the flowers but Mother’s Day not until Sunday. Today was a rainy, stormy, chilly, muggy one. I figured I should take pictures while I can. We could have a tornado tomorrow — I mean, anything is possible.
And finally, because where I go with a camera, the Duke is right behind me. Or in front of me. Or on top of me.

FLOWERS IN AND OUT 
SUNSHINE THIS MORNING 
A BOUQUET FOR ME

What beautiful flowers, Marilyn! Not sure what my kids have in mind for Mother’s Day, but it probably won’t include flowers. Some days I think I’m even allergic to the artificial ones. I once had a room full of plants, but after sneezing and wheezing my way through the few years I kept them I realized it wasn’t making my allergies go away, so a lot of friends came in and left with plants. I miss them — the plants, but know I shouldn’t try to replace them.
We had some bad times weatherwise yesterday, having to sit out in the hall for a few hours, but no tornado and not much hail. Wind and rain were bad enough with some thunder and lightening thrown in for the percussion section, but today so far is beautiful. I sure can live with this!

At least you figured out what you were allergic too. I’m allergic to pollen — grasses I’m sure and probably oak pollen — and we live in an oak woods. I would gladly give up my plants, much as a I love them, to NOT be allergy-ridden 4 months a years.
