CEE’S BLACK & WHITE PHOTO CHALLENGE: FARAWAY

This week’s Cee’s B & W Photo Challenge (CB&W) topic is Faraway. When I typically think faraway photography, I naturally think landscape. However, faraway is also a matter of perspective.
If you have a person or object up close in front and a building or farm in the background, the object in your background appears far away. This technique can work well in macro photograph. The actual distance can be a matter of interpretation.
Faraway to you may be moon and stars — or a large object in the background with a small item in the foreground.
Some perspective, some landscape. All black and white. Or nearly so.
And just one of the moon peeking through the oak trees.

It was the blue moon a couple of years ago, but we don’t have a clear view of the sky. So I got that more or less by accident 🙂 Happy accident.
I have a couple of my own adirondack chairs. I love the way they feel when you are in them, but I have a lot of trouble getting up from them.

Thesec arm chairs are one of your most brilliantly captured objects from all angles. I loved them in all moods, shades and angles. Moon is breathtakingly beautiful.

Now THAT was an accident. I was trying for the moon, but the leaves got in the way. A happy accident.

Garry loves them too. It was really accidental. i’m not sure I could reproduce it I tried. You need the full moon to be very bright and the moon to be in exactly the right place.

I have a thing for diagonal lines and angular perspective. Guess that means I’m always looking for an angle 🙂
