CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE: METAL AND WOOD
From Cee:
This week’s topic is Metal and Wood. Any photo that has both metal and wood in it. It can be a table that is made from both wood and metal or a photo of something metal and trees or logs prominent in the photo as well. Both items need to be represented somehow.
I had to think about what things are made of. After all, wood and metal ought to be easy, right?
Wooden doors have steel hinges. Wooden benches have iron legs. Trees are wood, cars are metal … or metallic, at least.
The barn roof is metal … tin, mostly I would guess.
Horseshoe and chains are definitely metal, but the boards are surely wood.
Tractor and cars … heavy metal, but the trees are the origin of wood.
An iron bridge amidst the trees. You can’t quite see it, but the bridge is wood over iron.
Wooden docks and decks, iron cleats and aluminum masts.

Wood and metal go so well together. I’ve noticed how new restaurants and cafes use this combo, so photogenic. My favorite of yours is the barn. Just love all of them.

Thank you. It turned out to be easier than I originally expected because everything wood seemed to have wood as part of it … or at least, nearby 🙂

Thanks you! It was an amazing barn. Still IS an amazing barn, built in 1720 so it’s got amazing wood textures. It’s just around the corner from our house 🙂
